Child Safety Standards
Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation.
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These Child Safety Standards explain how Aravir Technologies Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), the operator of the Our Cadre platform and mobile application (the “Service”), prevents, detects, and responds to child sexual abuse and exploitation (“CSAE”), including child sexual abuse material (“CSAM”). They form part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and reflect our compliance with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy and applicable law.
1. The Service is for adults
Our Cadre is a business-to-business political cadre-management platform used by organisations to manage their adult members and volunteers. It is not directed to children: the app is rated for adults, its intended audience is 18 years and older, and access is gated — a person can only use an organisation’s instance after being enrolled and approved by that organisation. The Service is not a social network for the general public and is not designed for, or marketed to, minors.
2. Prohibited conduct
The following are strictly prohibited anywhere on the Service, including in any content a member creates (issues, activities, comments, event posts) or media they upload (photos, documents, audio, video):
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, and any link to or solicitation of it.
- Sexualisation of a minor, or any depiction, description, or simulation of child sexual abuse.
- Grooming, enticement, sextortion, or any attempt to contact or exploit a minor.
- Trafficking, advertising, or facilitating the abuse or exploitation of a minor.
- Any other content or behaviour that endangers a child.
Accounts involved in any of the above are suspended and terminated, and the associated organisation is notified.
3. Reporting child-safety concerns in the app
Every piece of member-visible content in the Service carries an in-app Report and Block control. Any user can report content they believe violates these standards — including suspected CSAE — directly from the content, and can block the user who posted it. Reports reach our moderation team for review.
You do not need an account to raise a child-safety concern: you can also email us directly at the address in section 6.
4. How we respond
- Review. Reports of suspected CSAE are treated as the highest priority and are reviewed promptly.
- Removal & action. Content that violates these standards is removed, and the responsible account is suspended and terminated.
- Reporting to authorities. We report apparent CSAM and CSAE to the appropriate authorities — including, as applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Indian law-enforcement and child-protection authorities (for example, the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, cybercrime.gov.in) — and preserve relevant information as required by law.
- Cooperation. We cooperate with law enforcement and recognised child-safety organisations in the investigation of CSAE.
5. Legal compliance
We operate in compliance with applicable child-protection laws, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it, and with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy. These standards are reviewed periodically and updated as our Service and the law evolve.
6. Child-safety point of contact
